About Chris
Chris Evans is a professional freelance educator, singer/guitarist and composer of songs for kids, with a long and successful career as a guest artist and musical director in the education system.
He has brought his fun, interactive and curriculum-related programs and songs to over 1800 schools and enriched the learning of half a million children. His many original songs, on a wide variety of themes, have proved immensely popular with school kids of all ages, and are well-proven hits.
The inspiration for his engaging music comes from the natural world. Chris grew up beside the Highland Creek Valley, on the eastern edge of Toronto. Much of his early life was happily spent exploring the forests, meadows and trails in the valley and forging a profound connection with nature.
